Sage Salt R8 Fly Rods
Sage's R8 Salt brings lightness and power into one. What we have found with these rods is that they are extremely light, yet powerful without sacraficing feel. The rod flexes appropriately down the blank without collapsing or feeling too stiff. They are what we all seem to look for in a rod; one that is light in hand and has feel through the blank without losing it's ability to be what it is, which in this case, a powerful saltwater rod capable of handling the species that the salt brings to the table.

6 Weight 9 foot (690-4)
We find this rod to be incredibly light and fun. A perfect saltwater rod for calm days on a bonefish flat, handling schoolie stripers in a back estruary, smaller snook under the lights and much more. A delight.
7 Weight 9 Foot (790-4)
The 7 is a medium light saltwater machine that is joyful to cast. Light and smooth, perfect for bonefish and smaller saltwater species. Don't underestimate this rod in the wind!
8 Weight 9 Foot (890-4)
