Skeena River Steelhead

Tight Lines will be hosting it's first annual trip to the Skeena River in Hazelton British Columbia, Canada. We will be working with Skeena Meadows, a lodging facility along the mighty Skeena River with 7-8 miles of private access. This area is below the Kispiox, Bulkley, Babine, and Sustat Rivers, so every Skeena steelhead traveling to these rivers must go through this stretch of water.
This is 5 star camping, combining the appeal of sleeping in the outdoors with the creature comforts of a fine hotel stay. Each of their four 864 sq.ft. “tents” are insulated, smoke-free, and feature hardwood floors, leather furniture, fine linens, propane heaters, remote start generators, showers and full kitchen facilities. The lodging at Skeena Meadows re-defines the notion of “camping”.
This is a non-guided experience. Instead, we will be working with the lodge manager to rotate the water and provide information on the runs and pools. Each tent comes with a 4x4 capable of accommodating 3 anglers to venture throughout the property. During your stay, Andrew Moy will be offering free spey casting instruction. This will take place on a couple of afternoons over the course of the 5 days of fishing.
