Nautilus Spey Reels

The Nautilus 12 family of reels was specifically built to address the needs of Spey casters and two-handers.  The 10 can be used for smaller spey rods. These large arbor reels deliver extremely fast line pick up that will help you put the fish on the reel in record time. Furthermore, the sealed Nautilus CCF Disc Brake System will prevent water, dirt or sand from contaminating the drag surface, and will protect the most delicate tippets to increase the odds of landing the fish of a lifetime. These reels will deliver consistent and flawless performance and will never hydroplane if submerged, nor glaze over in freezing conditions.

New for 2006, the Nautilus 12T bridges the gap for Spey fishermen who need a somewhat smaller reel than the Nautilus 12S yet whose needs are not quite met by the Nautilus 12. Slightly narrower in diameter and width than the Nautilus 12S, the Nautilus 12T is the perfect match for the longer 7 to 12 weight Spey rods and lines.

Nautilus 10
This reel is ideal for small-medium size spey rods - 5/6/7.  Holds 150 yards of 30# with a 6/7 spey line.

Nautilus 12
This reel is ideal for medium size spey rods - 7/8/9.  Holds 200 yards of 30# with a 7/8 spey line.

Nautilus 12T
This reel is ideal for large size spey rods - 9/10/11.  Holds 200 yards of 30# with a 9/10 spey line.

Nautilus 12S
This reel is ideal for x-large size spey rods - 10/11/12.  Holds 200 yards of 30# with a 11/12 spey line.
