Synthetic Materials - Some of the most effective patterns are comprised of synthetic materials.
Steve Farrar's wonderful synthetic streamer material is a mix of slinky fiber and Lite-Brite. The fibers work together providing an undulating motion and a hint of flash. If streamers and saltwater patterns are our forte, you need to add this to your repitoire.
A fine texture fiber used for everything from large saltwater baitfish patterns to light and airy freshwater spinner wings and tails. This product has a finer denier than Kinky Fiber.
This material has endless uses for both saltwater and freshwater fly tying. 6" 70 denier. Slightly smaller package than the Fishair listed below.
