Airflo Spey Lines Skagit
Compact
With the help of Tom Larimer, Airflo developed a
series of Compact Skagit heads designed to throw big flies and sink tips in
tight confined spaces. As a guide, Tom was able to work on the Skagit Compact
heads in the field by having his guests fish them and making changes where
necessary.
It is important to note that the shorter a head
is the more critical its weight becomes. By offering twelve models, ranging from
a 23 foot 360 grain head to a 27 foot 720 grain head Airflo has ensured there is
a Skagit Compact head that perfectly balances with any rod and casting style.
With the incredible stresses put on each end of a Skagit head it is critical to
have a loop that will hold up. All Airflo two hand lines come with the toughest,
heavy duty, color coded loop system in the industry. Just loop your favorite
running line and sink tip to the Skagit Compact and your are good to go.

Switch
The need had become blatantly obvious--a shorter
head to match the now extremely popular Switch rods. But the "right"
line to match these versatile tools had been unavailable, until now. The new
Skagit Switch line hits the mark dead on. Shorter in length than our Skagit
Compact, this new addition to the Skagit group of lines vary from 18' to 20'
with 7 sizes ranging from 360 to 540 grains. Designed to load fast action switch
rods in tight casting situations, move 10' to 12' of sink tip, and reach out to
hit the "zone". Looped at both ends for ease of use, the front loop
has the line size clearly marked for easy identification. The Mint Green color
keeps the line visible and controllable at any distance. Couple this with either
the 20lb or 30lb Ridged Running line and you have the pinnacle of switch casting
setups.
Scandi
Compact **Great for switch rods**
Designed to perform with modern shorter rods or
where back cast room limits your "D" Loop - Scandi Compacts come in 11
sizes from the scant 240 grain to its larger brother the 540 grain, enabiling
you to create a perfectly balanced outfit.
These heads have made casting so easy it isn't
fair to those who had to learn with a conventional long belly line. Whether it's
steep banks or the tough winds ripping up the canyon, Scandi Compact helps
anglers of skill level cast like a pro in no time.
Product Use: Delicate Presentation.

Speydicator
The Speydicator was designed to throw an
unreasonable amount of weight at the end of an unreasonable length of tippet
with an unreasonably large indicator. With the help of steelhead junkies (who
would rather remain unnamed) the Airflo Speydicator floating line has evolved
into a tool any serious steelhead nymphers cannot live without.
The lines come in four sizes starting at a WF6.
They all have a short 21 to 23 foot head with a long 12 to 15 foot rear taper.
Behind the rear taper is a 25 to 30 foot heavy level mending zone. The
combination of the rear taper and mending azone allows the fisherman to
reposition the head after casting and still have enough mass to stack mend line
for 60 feet or more. After the mending zone the line is made with Airflo's
unique low stretch ridged running line, helping you to stick fish even at the
end of the longest drifts.

Tactical
Steelhead
Take the tight loop and casting ease of a Scandi
Compact head and couple it to the versatility of a multi-tip line and you have
the basis for the Airflo Tactical Steelhead shooting head. To help cut through
the wind and to make casting modest sink tips and larger flies easier, the
Tactical Steelhead has a larger tip diameter than the Scandi compact. With a
smooth front taper and removable floating tip the newest two-hand line from
Airflo will convert from a floating line to sink tip better than any existing
line. This new head will change the way many people fish. The mint green colored
heads come in a #5 weighing 390 grains all the way to a #9 weighing 660 grains.
Unique to the Tactical Steelhead is the 8 foot removable ridged tip which helps
anchor the cast. Airflo's indestructible heavy duty loops connect the tip to the
head and the head to the running line. All sizes are made on a low stretch 30lb
core. Remove the floating tip, connect your favorite sink tip and get down.

flyline has an interchangeable 8' Tip section

Airflo Delta Spey Every
year there are more and more spey lines on the market that compare themselves to
Airflo's Delta Spey. When Dec Hogan first got together with Tim Rajeff to create
the Delta Spey lines, a friendship was formed between a hardcore casting/gear
geek and a man who thinks like a steelhead (sometimes he even smells like one).
This friendship brought on the development of the most popular spey line that
two hands have ever touched. With its 52' to 56' head length and a smooth
forward taper, Delta Spey lines can punch through the wind when other lines
fail. New for 2011 is a built-in line marker that allows you to easily see the
optimum loading point. Delta Spey
