The following information is to help answer frequently asked questions about shipping for both domestic and international orders. If you have additional questions please email or call us with the number found above. We'd be happy to hear from you.

For domestic orders from the lower 48 states
 Orders over $99.95 are always free, actual shipping costs**(see below for specifics) will always be charged from $.01- $99.95 and never pay more then $7.95. 

Domestic shipping within the United States
Tight Lines Fly Fishing offers free standard shipping on orders over $99.95 and actual shipping costs** on orders $99.95 and below. Standard shipping will generally take from 1-7 business days. The tables below will help break down shipping costs for your order including faster services. We ship both UPS and US Postal Service depending upon package size, weight and customer requirements. All orders will ship the same day if received by 1:00 PM EST. If for any reason your order does not ship same day we will contact you immediately.  Free shipping is not available on pre-owned or antique equipment.

International Shipping
Tight Lines Fly Fishing ships internationally via US Postal Service. Most orders will be received within 6-10 days. Import duties and taxes may be incurred and are the responsibility of the buyer. Tight Lines Fly Fishing does not charge import duties and taxes. Please contact your local custom office for information.

Backorder Policy
Backordered items will ship in a timely manner once back in stock. If for any reason there will be a delay in a backordered item, we will contact you immediately. If an order is partially available, we will not charge shipping on the part that is backordered. We will communicate your order status via email or phone. Please preference how you'd like to be communicated with.

**Orders up to $99.95 will be charged the actual cost of the shipment.  $7.95 will be charged at the time of your purchase, and once the shipment has been made we will promptly refund the difference between the $7.95 and actual shipping costs.  If your shipping costs are over $7.95 we will never charge any more.  We will notify you of the difference and make your refund promptly after sending your shipment.
