NJ offers fly fishing for trout in small streams. The rivers here are generally well shaded and offer good fishing all fall, winter and spring and generally into early summer. Some seasons, if the weather is cool and wet, the fly fishing for trout can last all summer long. The fishing can be with dries, nymphs and streamers depending upon time of year, water conditions, etc.
The Great Lake tributaries offers tremendous fishing for steelhead, salmon and brown trout. There are many great rivers and streams including the Salmon River, Oswego River, Oak Orchard Creek, Cattaraugus Creek, and countless other small to medium sized rivers and streams. Some of these rivers have become world class fisheries with unbelievable returns of fish. The Great Lakes due to their size and lack of natural predators are a great place for these fish to flourish and return to the rivers. **All guided trips are booked directly through independent guides. Tight Lines Fly Fishing is not responsible for any guided fly fishing trips. |
