Fly's story....

This is a Green Butt Skunk tied on a Waddington shank.  Great all-around steelhead pattern.  The Waddington shank allows you to have a long shank but a short shank on the hook that actually attaches to the fish.  Long shanks have a tendency to lever out, and short shanks stay in much better.
